A Story of Three Kings – Daniel 6:1-28

It’s one of the greatest accounts in all of the Old Testament.  It involves jealousy, intrigue, desperate attempts at rescue, certain death but also miraculous escape.  Included among the key figures are King Darius, the mightiest man in the superpower of the Medes and Persians and the king of the jungle – hungry and powerful lions eager for their next meal.  But the strength of these mighty ones is seen as nothing at all in view of the King of Heaven’s power.  King Darius writes “He is the living God and enduring forever, and His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed, and His dominion will be forever.”
