On April 6, 2014 Faith Bible Church of Winnipeg dedicated their new place of worship at 600 Minto Street to the worship of the living and true God, and to the service of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Act of Dedication

On this day of great joy we have gathered to praise and thank the Lord for every blessing we have received.  And even as this place was built and dedicated 75 years ago as a place of Christian worship so we now come and purpose in our hearts that whenever we gather here we will, in all things, give honour and glory to “Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

Pastor – We set apart this house to the worship of the living and true God, and to the service of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Congregation – We devote it to the preaching of the gospel of the grace of God for the conversion of sinners, and to the education of Christians in a knowledge of spiritual truth, in all the activities of Christian life.

Pastor – Here we will raise our voices in prayer and praise to God.  Here will the ordinances of Believer’s Baptism and The Lord’s Supper be observed.

Congregation – Here will the Word of God, which lives and abides forever, be declared for the salvation of the lost, and shine as a constant light to guide God’s people though the night of time to the land of everlasting light.

Pastor – Here may every sinful and sorrowful heart find a refuge from despair and ruin, and Christians a safe retreat to which they may come when the storms of life are fierce.

Congregation – May no note of strife be ever heard within these walls, no unholy spirit of pride or worldliness enter here.

Pastor – May God graciously accept this offering of a house in His name – an offering made by grateful hearts and willing hands – and bless every heart that shares in this gift.

Congregation – May many here be born again and become true disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ joyfully bearing witness to His transforming power.

Pastor – To the glory of God, our Father, by whose favour we have been brought to this day; to the honour of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God and our Saviour; to the praise of the Holy Spirit, source of life and light.

Congregation – We dedicate this house.

Pastor – For worship in prayer and song; for the ministry of the Word; for the observance of Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

Congregation – We dedicate this house.

Pastor – To the strengthening of the family; to the training and nurture of children; to the inspiration of youth and the salvation of all.

Congregation – We dedicate this house.

Pastor – To the help of the needy; to the promotion of Christian fellowship; to the extension of the kingdom of heaven in our Jerusalem, our Judea, our Samaria and to the ends of the earth.
